Toaster Ovens on Parade

This is the very first piece of chamber music I ever wrote.  It's actually the first piece of music I ever wrote that was all strictly notated and did not include me as one of the performers. It was the early 1980s and I was a composition student at the University of Minnesota.  My composition teacher at that time was Lloyd Ultan.  He was the Dean of the School of Music and my first composition teacher.  I have fond memories of our sessions together.
